Thanks to a grant from the California State Library, the Buena Park Library District is pleased to offer virtual career support and veterans assistance to our library patrons through the JobNow & VetNow database from Brainfuse.
Patrons interested in services and assistance for veterans can use VetNow to virtually interact with a live veteran navigator to evaluate benefit eligibility and be connected to community resources. JobNow features a live job coach to help with resume writing, job searching, and interview skills. Resumes can also be submitted to a professional evaluator for recommendations and feedback.
Additionally, patrons who need assistance navigating through the unemployment process can use JobNow to connect with an expert to assist with completing forms for unemployment benefits.
