The long-awaited series “Vincenzo” finally dropped this past weekend and there’s a lot to be said and to be excited about. The series revolves around an Italian consigliere by the name of Vincenzo Cassano (Song Joong Ki) who works for the Mafia. Although there’s only been two episodes so far, a lot has happened in the storyline. Here are six things we loved about the premiere episodes of “Vincenzo.”

TvN s new drama Vincenzo, starring actor Song Joong-ki, got off to a smooth start Friday.
According to Nielsen Korea, the crime rom-com s first episode garnered 8.7 percent of viewership in the Seoul metropolitan area, becoming the most-watched program in the prime 9 p.m.-10 p.m. timeslot.
In the series, Song plays Vincenzo Cassano (Park Joo-hyung), a Korean-born lawyer and Italian mafia consigliere who heads for Korea after being betrayed by his gang in Italy. In Korea, he joins hands with another lawyer named Hong Cha-young ― played by Jeon Yeo-been ― to defeat villains in villainous ways.

“Vincenzo” is a tvN drama starring Song Joong Ki as Vincenzo Cassano, an Italian lawyer and Mafia consigliere who is of Korean descent, but was adopted by an Italian family at a young age. When he moves back to Korea due to a conflict within his organization, he winds up crossing paths with sharp-tongued lawyer Hong Cha Young (played by Jeon Yeo Bin) and her intern Jang Joon Woo (played by 2PM’s Taecyeon). Together, they join forces in using villainous methods to take down villains who cannot be punished by the court of law.
