Police say they have a suspect in custody after two brothers were shot in North College hill last night. 9 on your sides Kristen Swilley joins us live from uc medical where the victims are recovering. Two brothers are here at uc medical after being shot. Before they were brought here one of them went looking for help at a nearby home. A teenage boy and his mother heard the shots and sirens before answering a knock at their door but were worried about who may be on the other side. Initially the teenager inside says he was terrified. Not just because of the shooting itself. He feared the person at his door seeking help might actually have been the shooter. But that didnt stop him from acting quickly. We heard about nine gunshots and then we heard the police sirens. Me and my mom called the police and he knocked on the door and he knocked on our door and asked if we could call the police for him. Police have a suspect in custody charged with felonious assaul
