There have been a few comments lately that our Post has turned into “just another bar.” Here are a few examples of how Post 265 supports our local community:
From 2018-2020, the members of this post and their guests have donated, $41,418 back into local community and services that help veterans.
In 2019, this includes $1,000 for Camp Overlook 4H; Cystic Fibrosis, $150; American Cancer Society, $100; Clarkson University Army ROTC, $200; PHCS Yearbook Club, $130; Chapel Hill Cemetery, $100; Helping Hands of Potsdam, $100; St. Judes, $100; PHCS scholarships, $5,000; Parishville Sportsman Club, $500; Clarkson University STEAM Program, $200; St. Lawrence County Historical Society, $100; Parishville VFD, $300; PHCS Comfy Closet Program, $250; Potsdam Public Library, $50; Potsdam Humane Society, $50; Bench of Chapel Hill Cemetery, $910; Adopt-a-Platoon, $500; PHCS Backpack Program, $250; and Honor Flight Syracuse,
