The cities of Darwin, Australia and Anchorage in Alaska, USA have very different climates and geographies, but there s common ground when it comes to the lives of First Nations people in these two places.
Parallel Hearts is a new audio collaboration between the Larrakia of Darwin and the Dena ina of Anchorage. The seven-part series features the voices of First Nations people and is designed to increase understanding, knowledge and appreciation of Indigenous culture. This episodes looks back at the historical suffering and survival of these two First Nation groups.
