ICF President Perurena promises show like never before in 2021
International Canoe Federation (ICF) President José Perurena has promised a show like never before in 2021.
The upcoming year is set to be packed with ICF events and the calendar has been made even busier by the rescheduling of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a result of the postponement, athletes will have an opportunity to earn an Olympic and world title in the same year for the first time ever. Last year was such a tough year for everyone involved in our sport, so the opportunity to get out on to the water again this year can’t come soon enough, said Perurena.
