Hi there, I would appreciate some advice from HR / employment law specialists.
An employee is overdue for their annual appraisal, and is also presently subject to a disciplinary investigation on their performance. The employee has at the same time raised a grievance on their Line Manager, and this is being rolled into the investigation. Their grievance includes allegations of a lack of line management, which includes not having appraisals or regular feedback prior to the disciplinary being raised.
My question is, should the appraisal be postponed until the investigation is concluded, given the investigation is on the individuals performance, and the Line Manager who will give the appraisal?
