Also tonight, Montgomery County police are trying to figure out who fired a shot that went into an apartment and hit a woman. It happened around 36789. 30 this afternoon on stuart lane in silver springs. The bullet hit the woman in the leg. She will be okay. No arrests yet. Police believe the gunfire was accidental and may have come from another apartment. And we are also tracking metro tonight and the heated debate that will ultimately you can ride. Today a metro committee voted in favor of a proposal to reduce operating hours for two years. The Transit Agency says it needs that time to fix and maintain the rail system. But some d. C. That chase went to thornton where the suspects car crashed near 84th and conifer. We can see what we believe is the suspects car, crashed, sitting right there near that intersection. We dont know what happened next. But we were told that the incident turned into a s. W. A. T. Situation for a few moments. And now, that situation, we are told, is over. And they are possibly waiting on the towing truck to get here, to toe the suspects car from the scene, but pprtions of that area is blocked as you can see right now, as the investigation wraps up.
