the bill is awful. the president knows it s rawful. we re going to give you the whole behind the scenes as to what was going on as to what relates to this new seven month spending extension. and in moments i m going to explain exactly why it happened this way and i will explain exactly how the president will get funding for the wall and what s in store for you. has the president kept all his other promises? there is a method to this. and at the end of the day, is it better that the wall get built? more coming up. we have a monologue later in the program just on that. first, we have big breaking news, hannity watch on the deep state.. this is where we begin tonight with something that should shock and alarm every single american, and i don t care if you are liberal, conservative, i don t care if you are republican or democrat, doesn t matter or conservative as i am. we were right. i have beenn sounding the alarm on this program with aou team of investigative reporters for over two ye
want to wrap up as soon as he can. that level of redaction shows that there s still a lot that we don t know. but remember that mueller may have already put a lot of evidence into the grand jury. he may just not have voted an indictment out. interesting. so in terms of timing, i think it s months, i don t think we re looking at years, but i agree with david, it s not tomorrow. there s work still and as some were thinking, we re weeks away. i guess it s possible, but this would indicate, possibly, we re not. this indicates there s a lot we still don t know. i think that s the main thing. and that there s more action that they re going to take. where they are in the process of presenting a case, that s the piece we re missing. but i think it s important for viewers to hear, yao aou ale saying, there s a lot we don t know. we like to think, we know. if you look at these redactions, that s extremely clear. john, the wall street journal is also reporting tonight that trump s l
when he worked for the clintons, how dumb would you have to be to allow another special counsel investigation to unfold? will any president in american history allow a special counsel investigation? the clintons were very upset they agreed to that special counsel in the first place because of what happened. trump never agreed to it. the irony here is congress left the statute lapse so they would never be another independent counsel. and then rosenstein created this creature that didn t have judicial supervision to go ahead and have free reign to go after the president. tucker: totally extraconstitutional office, not overseen by any elected official at all, which is unconstitutional by definition, was allowed because one guy at doj wanted it? not only that, because of the power that mueller has, you think you would be the kind of official that should be approved by the senate. that is why there has been aou question to the legitimacy, because he appears to have
american public want. we want it too, let s get itut done. tucker: i was think about the guys who are tasked withaw carrying out our laws that congress passes, by the way, the buffoons yelling this are the ones who could change it if they wanted. what it must be like to be a border patrol agent, an i.c.e. agent and to turn on the tv and watch some chin tugger call you a nazi. it s horrible, it s demoralizing. it makes you second guess where this country is going. i love this country, one of the reasons why i am a border patrol agent. one of the reasons i put on aou uniform and go out and control the border, it s to keep this country safe and to have people calling me a nazi for enforcing the laws the democrats passed. this policy by which we deployed this teargas, that s an obama policy. that policy was written under the obama administration and implemented under the obama administration, yet you don t hear people talking about that. they just want to embarrasss president trump.
i don t know. i knew i life is opening up and don t know. i don t have any answers. i just have to get over this. that s all for this edition of dateline. i m craig melvin. thank you for watching. good morning. i m dara brown in new york at msnbc world headquarters. it s 7:00 in the east, 4:00 out west. here s what s happening. no limits. new reaction from the president to the scope of the fbi investigation of brett kavanaugh. the fbi, as you know, is all over talking to everybody. and i would expect, he s a high quality person. i would expect it s going to turn out very well for the judge. but a white house official tells us aou different story. details ahead.
