white house. reporter: as we re learning more information in congress about the ukraine scandal that is threatening president trump s presidency, we re also anyhow learning that the white house helped arrange a phone call between the president s personal attorney and secretary of state mike pompeo. now, this is according to documents released by the state department following a freedom of information request. essentially it shows the white house coordinated with rudy giuliani s assistant in order to schedule a call with secretary of state mike pompeo pack in march. now, the timing of this is particularly interesting. the phone call that the white house helped schedule took place on march 29th. that s just a day after giuliani actually provided documents to the state department outlining allegations against former vice president joe biden and his son hunter biden. allegations that of course have not been substantiated, as well as accusations about marie yovanovitch, who was ultimately
