Florida Panthers Announce 2020-21 Training Camp Roster

Bill Zito announced today the Panthers 39-man roster for the club s 2020-21 training camp. Florida will have 21 forwards, 13 defensemen and five goaltenders attending training camp. The first on-ice session of the Panthers training camp is set to begin on Monday, Jan. 4 at BB&T Center.
All training camp practices are scheduled to take place at BB&T Center. Training camp practices will be closed to the public and open to a limited number of media. Florida opens the season with two games against the Dallas Stars on Thursday, Jan. 14 and Friday, Jan. 15.

Noah Juulsen off waivers from the Montreal Canadiens.
Juulsen, 23, appeared in 13 regular season games with the Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2019-20, registering three assists.
The 6-foot-2, 201-pound native of Surrey, British Columbia, has appeared in 44 career National Hockey League regular season games with Montreal (2017-18 to 2018-19), producing eight points (2-6-8). He has played in 47 career AHL regular season games, notching nine points (1-8-9).
Originally selected by Montreal in the first round (26th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft, Juulsen was a two-time Western Hockey League (WHL) All-Star and registered 124 points (30-94-124) over 240 career WHL regular season games with the Everett Silvertips (2012-13 to 2016-17).

Gustav Forsling off waivers from the Carolina Hurricanes. He is expected to join Florida s training camp.
Forsling, 24, appeared in 57 regular season American Hockey League games (AHL) with the Charlotte Checkers in 2019-20, producing 26 points (8-18-26). He ranked third among Checkers defensemen in points.
Originally selected by the Vancouver Canucks in the fifth round (126th overall) of the 2014 National Hockey League Draft, Forsling has played in 122 career regular season NHL games, all with the Chicago Blackhawks (2016-17 to 2018-19), recording 27 points (8-19-27).

Oaklawn Park in Arkansas plans to allow limited fans during its winter-spring horse racing meet that runs Jan. 22-May 1.
Grandstand general admission won’t be allowed initially. Entry to the grandstand will be for guests with a racing credential or a reservation for that day’s races.
Current season box seat-holders and Oaklawn Jockey Club members can enter the grandstand with weekly reservations. Restaurants inside the grandstand will be open to the public, with weekly reservations required.
Social distancing will be enforced. Guests will be required to have temperature checks and guests at the Hot Springs track will be required to wear masks at all times.
