Greenville’s annual Pots and Pans Parade, the boisterous ringing in of the Fourth of July, is back on this year, after the event was canceled due to COVID-19 in 2020.
Starting July 3 and running into the early morning hours of July 4, Greenville will host its traditional Fourth of July celebrations at the town field, followed by fireworks and capped by the Pots and Pans Parade at midnight to mark the start of the holiday. The long-standing tradition includes a parade of floats, decorated vehicles and classic cars and fire trucks and ambulances while residents cheer on the procession by banging pots and pans.
