Delhi-Panipat regional rapid transit system - Top Features:
The 103 km long Delhi-Sonipat-Panipat corridor will have 17 stations, out of which six stations will be in Delhi, and 11 stations will be in Haryana.
The construction and commissioning of the Delhi-Panipat regional rapid rail corridor will be undertaken in two stages. The first stage will be from a 58 km long route from Sarai Kale Khan to Murthal and the second one being a 44 km long route from Murthal to Panipat.
The stations will be situated at key locations such as Kundli, RGEC, Gannaur, and Samalkha, contributing to seamless travel across the Delhi-Sonipat-Panipat region.
