Gurugram, April 10 : The Samyukt Kisan Morcha s (SKM) call on Saturday to block the six-lane Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway in protest against the Centre s three farm laws did not evoke much response at Nuh, Manesar and Farukhnagar.
All these places are located on the expressway.
The SKM had announced that the Expressway will be blocked for 24 hours from 8 a.m. on Saturday. The blockade was scheduled to continue till 8 a.m. on Sunday. However, the Gurugram police had diverted traffic near Panchgaon and Farukhnagar and advised commuters to avoid travelling on the super expressway.

Gurugram, March 7 : The Gurugram police have arrested two drug peddlers and seized 20 kg of marijuana, worth Rs 1.32 lakh, from them, officials said on Sunday.
The police have also seized a car which the accused had used for transportation of the contraband from Delhi.
Police said that the duo was arrested from Panchgaon Chowk on the Delhi-Jaipur expressway after they had received a tip-off on Saturday.
The police added that the suspects Satish and Amit were heading towards Rajasthan to sell those narcotics but were nabbed by the crime branch unit of the Gurugram police.
