In it, he launched a severe attack on what he called the Christian and capitalistic concepts of family, marriage and private property, concluding with an appeal to the American delegates to “take off their civilized masks and show their anthropophagous tendencies” repressed by colonization. José Lira's talk will take his own house, built on the outskirts of São Paulo in the 1930s, as an erotic-political apparatus to the staging of an insatiable American man.
