PAN-Aadhaar link date extension: Not linking PAN and Aadhaar cards will have serious consequences as all unlinked PAN cards will become inoperative after July 1.
PAN-Aadhaar linking date extended: The Ministry of Finance said the date for linking PAN and Aadhaar has been extended to June 30, 2023, whereby persons can intimate their Aadhaar to the prescribed authority for Aadhaar-PAN linking without facing repercussions. Failing which, PAN of taxpayers will become inoperative.
PAN-Aadhaar link: Every person who is eligible to have an Aadhaar card and also has a PAN card must link both these cards by March 31, as per Section 139AA of the Income Tax Act 1961.
Aadhaar PAN linking deadline: The last date to link PAN and Aadhaar card is March 31. The pan card holders can pay a fine of Rs 1,000 and link Pan Aadhaar cards online. If the taxpayers fail to link their PAN and Aadhaar Card by March 31, the PAN card will become inoperative.
