The Lunenburg Doc Fest is celebrating its eighth anniversary this year and they are hopeful they will be able to fill the fifth edition of their senior’s workshop.
The seniors’ workshop aims to teach people over the age of 55 the ins and outs of documentary filmmaking. Doc Fest Executive Director Pamela Segger says by the end of the six-week program the workshop participants will have produced a full-length documentary.
“This year the educational aspects of the course will be done online but we will be able to get out there for filming after getting the necessary permissions,” said Segger.
