Its a devastating setback. Alex, in a new interview recorded just yesterday told gma he needs a second round of debilitating chemo. I was doing so well and my numbers went down to the equivalent of a normal human being who does not have pancreatic cancer. So we were all very optimistic. This was alex back in april leaving the hospital. In june he told us his chemo treatments seemed to be working. My numbers are improving and im very positive about the outcome. After his first round of chemo alex needed a wig and faces more hair loss a second time. My hair started to grow back so what little hair i have grown is gonna disappear again. Alex has fought through intense pain, depression and at times fear, but has not missed one day of taping jeopardy. There is an end in sight for me.
