Insulin Pump
Editor, In response to Pam Bow,s letter in last week’s Portugal news regarding my wife’s insulin pump
Do you not think that having lived here on the Algarve for almost twenty years, we would have exhausted every avenue for a solution to getting spares for the pump rather than having to choose between leaving what has become our home over that period of time and having to return to the UK?
There is a solution. My wife can revert to sticking a needle in herself numerous times a day and the problems associated with that, or sadly we have to leave this lovely country
