Town of Palmer vaccination site administers 150 COVID-19 shots Wednesday

PALMER – Although the municipality’s COVID-19 vaccination site could administer many more doses, the town manager, Ryan McNutt says they are making the most of what they are receiving, which currently are 100 total weekly.
Last week’s shipment was delayed, but combined with this week’s amount, 150 were able to be vaccinated on Wednesday, Palmer Town Manager Ryan McNutt said in a Thursday morning interview on radio station WARE.
“We have another [vaccination event] scheduled this Friday,” he said.
“As long as they send us vaccines, we will continue to open the clinic. . . we hope they give us 1,000 doses a week,” he said.
