West palm Beach Veteran s Day parade: school bands and dancers; grizzled military veterans saluting their comrades, and politicians waving to the crowd.
Large crowds of family and friends of deceased U.S. military members descended on the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth Beach to pay their respects on Memorial Day. It was the first time in two years the cemetery was able to conduct a ceremony honoring those who served following a two-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
It's the first time that the public is being invited to a Memorial Day Ceremony at the South Florida National Cemetery since 2019, due to the pandemic. Speakers include former POW, Air Force Capt. Bill Arcuri, who we spoke with last year.
