Missy Bland has been recognized as Palm Bay Police Department's V-Cop of the Month. In July 2022, Bland became a VCOP and patrols once a week. In addition to her weekly patrol, she is involved with the CARFIT program, fills in at the front desk, and assists with the Senior Santa Program and the VCOP Annual Banquet.
