Sumon Bepari, one of the prime accused of Pallabi’s Shahinuddin murder case, on Saturday confessed that he led the killing mission as per directive of former lawmaker MA Awal.
During police remand, Sumon also said he along with 11 others took part in the killing mission, said sources in police.
Sumon, former assistant secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan North Unit of Chhatra League, detailed everything from the plot to implementation of the gruesome murder with the exact reason behind it to policemen.
