Palatine Mayor Jim Schwantz, Sister Cities President Nghi Loi Pappas and scholarship director Mona Yaghmour presented a $4,000 scholarship to Mayra Cortezano at the Palatine Farmers Market on July 9.
On Saturday, May 21, the Palatine Garden Club will host its annual Spring Perennial Sale from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Palatine Farmers Market, near the Metra Station, 137 W. Wood St., downtown Palatine.
