COVID-19: No new cases in the community, one in managed isolation

All contacts of the Air New Zealand crew member have returned negative results so far, with the remaining results due on Thursday. The crew member tested positive on Sunday after returning a negative test on February 28, the day they returned to Auckland on flight NZ90 from Tokyo, Japan. It s understood the individual contracted the virus due to overseas exposure.  It s believed they were infectious while Auckland was under alert level 3 restrictions last week, likely minimising their number of contacts.  No additional locations of interest have been identified in connection to the crew member. Anyone who has visited a location of interest - specified here - is advised to contact Healthline if they develop symptoms of the virus, which include a cough, fever, muscle ache, sore throat and runny nose.
