Satendra Siwal, an Indian Embassy security guard in Moscow, was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) for allegedly spying for Pakistan s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Siwal, also a Ministry of External Affairs staff member, confessed to sharing sensitive information with a woman Pakistani intelligence operative for money. The authorities are investigating the ISI s modus operandi in Moscow, and Siwal s bank accounts will be analyzed to determine financial transactions. The incident is seen as a serious breach, and the Indian embassy in Moscow handles critical diplomatic missions.
