ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on National Security Division and Strategic Policy Planning, Dr Moeed Yusuf said the government wanted to pursue a bilateral relationship with the US not hyphenated or clouded by US interests in other regional countries rather based on mutual understanding.
The SAPM addressed a gathering of US policy makers at the Washington based think tank Wilson Center titled “US-Pakistan Relations in the Biden Era” a day after the Biden inauguration, said a statement.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Security, Dr Moeed Yusuf says Pakistan wants to pursue bilateral relationship with the United States, based on mutual understanding.
He was addressing a gathering of US policy makers at the Washington based think tank Wilson Center titled “US-Pakistan Relations in the Biden Era”.
Dr Moeed said the Pakistan-US relationship should be unconditional and not clouded by US interests in other regional countries.
He said the world has undergone immense transformation in the past four years and the new US administration should look beyond Obama-era to build a truly bilateral relationship with Pakistan.

A day after the Biden inauguration, Dr Moeed addressed a gathering of US policymakers at the Washington-based think tank Wilson Centre titled “US-Pakistan Relations in the Biden Era” on Friday.
Laying out a new vision of Pakistan’s engagement with the incoming Biden administration, Dr Yusuf said that the government wants to pursue a bilateral relationship with the US that is not hyphenated or clouded by US interests in other regional countries but is based on mutual understanding.
