Khyber Pakhtunkhwa celebrate their Pakistan Cup win.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa completed a hat-trick of domestic first-XI titles on Sunday by clinching the Pakistan Cup One Day tournament, beating Central Punjab in the final by seven wickets.
Opening batsman Sahibzada Farhan smashed an unbeaten 103 off 102 deliveries to help KP successfully chase the title of 240 in 36.1 overs for the loss of three wickets.
Muhammad Amir Azmat (45), Iftekhar Ahmed (40) and Musaddiq Ahmed (33) also made notable contributions.
Earlier, Central Punjab were bowled out for 239 in 47 overs after they were asked to bat first by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

KARACHI: Central Punjab blasted their way into the final when they demolished Sindh by 127 runs in the first semi-final of the Pakistan Cup One-day tournament for First XI here at the SBP Ground on Friday.
Chasing 340, Sindh’s batting failed to live up to the billings and the whole team were bundled out for 212 in the 37th over.
Khurram Manzoor top-scored 88, hitting 12 fours in his 73-ball feat.
Left-hander Saad Ali chipped in with 55-ball 54, striking five fours and one six. Fast bowler Mohamamd Ali left a good impression, taking 3-31 in 6.5 overs. Leggie Usman Qadir (2-50) and Ahmed Bashir (2-40) also ably backed Ali.
Khurram pushes Sindh to semis with solid hundred

KARACHI: Khurram Manzoor blasted a superb hundred to put Sindh in the semi-finals when they downed Northern by 13 runs in their eighth round fixture of the Pakistan Cup One-day tournament for First XIs here at the NBP Sports Complex on Friday.
Khurram hammered 122 to enable Sindh to pile up 277-6 in the stipulated 50 overs. Khurram struck 15 fours and one six in his 138-ball knock, his second hundred of the event and 26th of his List A career.
Skipper Anwar Ali smacked 39-ball 56 not out, striking four sixes and three fours. Mohammad Musa was the pick of the bowlers with 2-43 in seven overs. Salman Irshad remained the most expensive bowler as he conceded 75 runs in nine overs.
Hassan magic helps Sindh down Balochistan

KARACHI: Left-arm spinner Hassan Khan produced his career-best figures to enable Sindh to down Balochistan by seven wickets in their sixth round fixture of the Pakistan Cup One-day tournament for First XIs here at the UBL Sports Complex on Monday.
Hassan captured 4-15 in just 3.3 overs as Sindh dismissed Balochistan for a paltry total of 116 in the 26th over. Mir Hamza, left-arm pacer, ably backed Hassan by taking 2-36 in six overs. Skipper Imran Farhat top-scored for Balochistan, hitting five fours in his 62-ball 32. Adnan Akmal got run out on 19 which featured three fours.
Sharjeel hits century in Sindh win over Northern

KARACHI: Sharjeel Khan blasted 108 to enable Sindh to move to the summit when they downed Northern by seven wickets in their fifth round fixture of the Pakistan Cup One-day tournament for First XI here at SBP Ground on Saturday.
Left-handed Sharjeel hammered 13 fours and five huge sixes in his quick-fire 74-ball feat as Sindh chased the 187-run target in the 29th over after losing just three wickets.
Sharjeel, who hit his eighth List A hundred, dominated the 160-run partnership for the opening stand with Khurram Manzoor, who fell for 59-ball 52, striking five fours. Azam Khan remained not out on 16 and Asad Shafiq two not out. Hammad Azam got 2-21 in six overs.
