No lockdown for politics

There seems to be no break from politicking as politicians continue their power games during this MCO. Nation 14 Jan 2021 Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau. -filepic PETALING JAYA: Upko president Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau has invited lawmakers who recently abandoned the Perikatan Nasional government to join Pakatan Plus. Pakatan Plus is the moniker for a loose coalition that includes Pakatan Harapan and the yet-to-be-registered Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang) led by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. In a statement on Wednesday (Jan 13), the Tuaran MP appealed to his fellow parliamentary colleagues who do not have any ongoing court cases to join Pakatan Plus in order to discuss alternative policies for the post-Perikatan government. Whether we would sit next to each other in the future as parliamentarians, we have a duty to offer workable and broad-based policies for millions of suffering Malaysians when the PM damages their livelihoods just to save his job, he said.
