Growing more trees and processing them in New Zealand is part of Forestry Minister Stuart Nash s vision for the future of the industry. He was hosted by the Tai Tokerau Maori Forestry Collective at a meeting of forestry industry leaders on Friday in the Pakaraka Hall near Moerewa.
Nash has worked in the forestry industry in New Zealand and Japan and has a postgraduate diploma in forestry and a masters degree in forestry management.
