A WORCESTER primary school has given out an iPad to every pupil and teacher from reception to Year 6. The school says the move is aimed at ensuring the continuity of education during the pandemic to ensure that all young people have access to education during the current Covid disruption, and to close the digital divide. The school has distributed 545 iPads with keyboard cases as part of its Horizons programme. Over the coming months, Oasis continue its rollout, giving out 35,000 iPads at all of its 52 academies. Suzanne Owen, incoming principal at Warndon, said: “We are delighted to be part of this project, pupils and staff are incredibly excited to start using their devices at home and during the school day that provides a whole host of new opportunities for every one of our young people.
