Pupils at St Joseph s Primary School were busy this month making Christmas decorations for Gorey Shopping Centre.
A large piece of artwork created by all 520 pupils hangs proudly at Dunnes, while senior class students also put their artistic skills to work on some shop windows to create a Winter Wonderland with their teachers Ann-Marie Doyle and Lenny Armstrong.
The pieces have been widely admired by all Gorey shoppers and Principal Padraig Cronin complemented the initiative of Ms Doyle and Ms Armstrong. The teachers approached the shopping centre and they were very cooperative and thought it was a great idea. Due to Covid-19, the kids are the ones that are suffering the most with all the restrictions and we can t do the things we d normally do as a school at Christmas.
