MANILA - Determined to make it back-to-back, Limitless App kicked off its bid for a second straight PBA 3x3 leg title with a hard-earned 21-19 win over Pioneer Pro Tibay Monday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The Appmasters went to Reymar Caduyac down the stretch and the 5-foot-9 guard out of Lyceum didn't disappoint, hitting the game-winner from the line to give his side the early lead in Pool A on opening day of Leg 6 competitions presented by 1Pacman Party List. Caduyac and Jorey Napoles each had seven points to show the way for the Appmasters, who copped the Leg 5 championship last week by beating TNT in the finals, 14-13. In a virtual briefing Saturday, Health Undersecretary Ma. Rosario Vergeire said the proposal of House Deputy Speaker and 1-Pacman Party-list Rep. Mikee Romero for COVID-19 vaccination sites to have non-stop operations is not yet a priority.
In a statement on Friday, Romero urged Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. to consider the proposal as this could boost the Philippines goal of reaching herd immunity.
He added putting up 24/7 vaccination centers could also address the problem of overcrowding and help ensure the strict observance of health and safety protocols.
