The us defence secretary, james mattis, warned that any threat would be met with a massive and overwhelming response and the white house said President Trump was ready to use Americas Nuclear capabilities. This morning, the Russian Deputy foreign minister Sergei Ryabkov said that any clumsy steps could lead to an explosion. Comes out it could be warm with temperatures up to 2a degrees and even where we dont see sunshine it will feel warm under the cloudy skies. Some drizzle in east anglia and south east england. We will see brighter skies edging into the north west of scotland later on. But on the satellite, you can see a bump here on the weather front. This is called a wave and it is going to enhance the rain tonight. First, we will see the rain turning heavy in Northern Ireland before that pulse of heavy rain works across scotland, into Northern England and wales.
