The medical series has been a staple for the channel since 2011, but staff had reportedly been told that plans to film new episodes in the autumn have been shelved.
Channel 4 has reportedly decided to cancel Danny Dyer's Scared of the Dark, which featured a host of celebrities battling it out in the pitch black, after just one series
