Western monarchs are returning to Santa Cruz. Residents and visitors can see the popular orange and black butterflies clustering in eucalyptus groves at Lighthouse Field and Natural Bridges state beaches, as well as at Moran Lake Park.
The annual Live Oak Glass Pumpkin Patch returns for one weekend only from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Santa Cruz Live Oak Grange. The event features hand-made glass pumpkins and gourds (and witches’ hats, too) in an array of colors and sizes.
