An Australian woman living in Paris said she was made to feel shame after two security guards tried to stop her breastfeeding her daughter on a bench at Disneyland Paris. They were trying to make me feel shame, Laura, who did not provide her surname, told SBS News.
Laura, who lives in Paris, was visiting Europe s biggest theme park with her French husband and two children as a treat for her five-year-old after months of Covid lockdowns.
She said she began to breastfeed her two-month-old daughter on a bench while her husband and older daughter went on a ride.

A NEW mum was left mortified after a shopping centre staff member told her she needed to breast feed in private.
Shannon Laverty, from Gold Coast, Australia, took to social media to slam the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre for trying to “cancel a breastfeeding mama.”

She hoped to encourage the breastfeeding community to take a stand against the centre in solidarity.
The mother-of-two explained that she sat down to breastfeed her newborn, Shep, in a public lounge area of the centre when a staff member came over and told her there were private facilities available.

An Australian mom has taken to Instagram to share her recent negative experience while breastfeeding her son at a local mall.
According to ABC News, Shannon Laverty was visiting Gold Coast s Pacific Fair Shopping Centre on Saturday when she reportedly stopped to breastfeed her three-week-old, Shep. I sat down on the public lounge area in front of the concierge desk and when my son was latched on my breast, this woman came running over, explained Laverty to ABC News.
