Man who raped and killed a woman 40 years ago killed another two years later
Troy James O Meara, 54, was 17 when he killed Linda Reed, 21, in December 1983
O Meara raped Ms Reed in bushland then drowned or smothered her in a creek
In striking similarities he also raped and murdered Vanessa Joy O Brien in 1985
