Dame Julie Andrews has led tributes to The Sound Of Music and Knives Out actor Christopher Plummer, who has died at the age of 91.
Dame Julie, 85, who starred alongside Plummer in the iconic 1965 musical, said: I treasure the memories of our work together and all the humour and fun we shared through the years. My heart and condolences go out to his lovely wife Elaine and his daughter Amanda.
She added: The world has lost a consummate actor today and I have lost a cherished friend.
