Roja’s B’Day Gift To CM Jagan Published by GulteDesk December 21, 2020 YCP firebrand leader Roja drew the attention of netizens by doing something different. On the occasion of the birthday of her party president and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday, the APIIC chairman and Nagari MLA adopted an orphan and netizens hailed her for the act. Roja said that it was her gift to Jagan, whom she admires. Taking a cue from the YCP government’s novel welfare programme, Amma Vodi, wherein poor parents are being provided financial help to get their children educated, the MLA adopted P. Pushpa Kumari, an inmate of Home for Girls in Tirupati after her parents expired. The Home is being run by Child Welfare Committee. Kumari completed her Intermediate and is qualified in NEET. However, she could not pursue medicine due to financial difficulties.
