As the country observes the 149
th anniversary of their martyrdom, the Department of Education (DepEd) – Division of City Schools in Manila organized on Wednesday, Feb. 17, “GAROTE: Isang Birtwal na Simposyum kaugnay sa paggunita ng Ika-149 taong kabayanihan ng GomBurZa” shared this – and more – to recognize the heroism of these three secular priests and how their sacrifice became a pivotal moment in Philippine history.
