Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the government to work out proposals by March 1 for energy giant Rosneft to supply 10 billion cubic metres of natural gas exports to Europe, Interfax news agency reported on Tuesday.
The westbound flows via the portion of the Yamal-Europe pipeline, which brings gas from Russia via Poland to Germany, have been on hold since Saturday, data from Germany's Gascade operator showed on Thursday.
Gas flows from Russia to Germany via the Yamal pipeline started up again on Thursday afternoon, data from the pipeline's German operator showed, sending European gas prices lower.
Moldova will receive around 3 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas per year, Moldovan deputy prime minister Andrei Spinu said on Monday, in line with a contract signed recently with Russia following a dispute in which Moscow threatened to stop supplies.
