MONA’s Festival of Music and Art kicked off in Launceston last weekend, offering a tantalising foretaste of how major arts and culture festivals will adapt to COVID-19 through 2021.
To a Melburnian, arriving in Tasmania feels like stepping into a plague-free oasis. Anyone would be apprehensive about crossing a state border right now, but the anxiety quickly dissipates in the face of a relaxed and friendly COVID-normal.
