A youth, who is a Hindu Munnani member, tried to attempt suicide after a sub-inspector of police allegedly threatened and verbally abused him over the phone. The boy had kept a scene from actor Dhanush's Maari film as his WhatsApp status to challenge the cop over an old dispute.
