LA VISTA, Neb. (AP) The search for an 11-year-old boy with autism who has been missing for two weeks will focus on the neighborhoods around his home in La Vista, police said Tuesday.
Ryan Larsen was last seen leaving his school about noon on May 17. Authorities have said he has been without medication he takes for seizures since he disappeared.
Police said about 50 law enforcement officers from several agencies were speaking with neighbors Tuesday around the area where Ryan lived, The Omaha World-Herald reported.
The last sighting of him was about 90 minutes after Ryan left school, when video captured him at a business. A resident of a nearby apartment complex also saw him that day.

LA VISTA, Neb. (AP) The search for an autistic 11-year-old Nebraska boy who has been missing since last week continues to focus on a lake and surrounding park in the Omaha suburb of La Vista.
On Sunday, authorities lowered the lake at Walnut Creek Recreation Area by several feet to help searchers get a better view of what lies along the shore of the lake. Debris in the lake, including tires and tree limbs, has hindered the water search for Ryan Larsen as divers scoured the lake over the past several days.

LA VISTA, Neb. (AP) The search for an autistic 11-year-old boy in eastern Nebraska grew more dire Thursday as the boy remained missing for a third day and officials moved the search to nearby bodies of water.
Ryan Larsen has been missing since Monday morning, when he walked out of his elementary school in La Vista, which lies just southwest of Omaha.
Police have said the child has a history of hiding from his family and authorities. La Vista Police Chief Bob Lausten told the Omaha World-Herald that his department has had to find the boy at least half-a-dozen times, but that he’s never been missing for days at a time.
