health care expert thought it was aweful and would harm the health of the american public. one of the things i fear is that now president trump is going to try to undermine obamacare not through the legislative process so much but by not providing the cost sharing subsidies which would hugely undermine it by isn t that happening somewhat now? especially with the rhetoric. and every time president trump talks about how it s going to die under its own weighted, you know, the image i think of is somebody who is stepping on the oxygen hose of the patient and saying, oh, look, the poor patient is dying. it s because you re stepping on the oxygen hose. and i hear people say that and if you actually read up on it and you look at the fact checks, it s not collapsing under its own weight. absolutely not. there are a number of different factors. huge problems. it certainly has difficulties, but it has actually been stabilizing, but it does i mean, it does need
involvement with legislation, that the president must be consistent. it s the only rule. it s the only rule congress needs is the president has to be consistent because after all, the president s involvement turns on nothing other than his veto power. it s the only reasonthy ta they to the president, right? what they always need to know is what will you support, what won t you support, and that changes by the week with donald trump. i mean the only consistency is, of course, that he s kind of oblivious to policy of all kinds, including health care policy. and, you know, i must say, though, that one other thing that he has occasionally been consistent on that really does worry me is that, you know, clearly repeal and replace terrifies the public. trumpcare has, what, 17% approval rating. but he has periodically voiced this idea that they will essentially step on the oxygen hose of obamacare, and then as it suffers, say, oh, it s dying a natural death. yeah, right. and that s, i th

i never said, i guess i m here what, 64 days? i never said repeal and replace obamacare. you have heard my speeches. i never said repeal it and replace it within 64 days. i have a long time. david cornyn, he did say he would get it done the first day and other time frames. i don t think he specifically said 64 days, he might be right about that. he didn t say 64 days, he said immediately, he was the only guy to do it. we had a video where he said it would be easy, easy, easy. so, he clearly doesn temember what he said. it s a situation where he doesn t know what he said ten seconds ago. it s about the moment. to nick s point about stepping on the oxygen hose, very apt metaphor here. the one thing about donald trump, when he does these speeches for 50,000 bucks and
