Right now,
oxygen is one of the most sought-after covid resources. Bengaluru accounts for 36 per cent of the total medical oxygen used in
state hospitals. Due to increased usage of oxygen and subsequent complaints of oxygen shortage, the
State Government had conducted an audit of oxygen usage.
As per the report, 723.86 kilo litres (kl) of medical oxygen have been used in the state on May 9. Out of this, Bengaluru Urban district had a lion’s share of 260 kilo litres.
