This week has felt more like August instead of June, with the hot days and spotty storms. Meanwhile the veggies are growing and getting ready to come to the Oxford Farmers Market. Since everything we sell is either homemade or homegrown by our vendors, you know exactly where everything is coming from. Market hours are every Saturday from 7 a.m. until noon.
Last week the gardens delivered zucchini, cabbage and green tomatoes, so we know the other items will be arriving soon.
This weekâs veggie smorgasbord includes kale, spinach, collards, lettuce, spring onions, radishes, new potatoes, zucchini, cabbage and herbs. Robert Tingen Jr. will return with pasture-raised beef for your weekend meals.

Veggies are so healthy for us, especially the green leafy ones. They contain Vitamin D, and a lot of antioxidants that our bodies need. These antioxidants help fight off disease and infections. We will have plenty of these for you this week.
