We begin with the highly anticipated results of the Airport Commission study. Among the plans chosen from more than 50 proposals is the contentious idea of expanding heathrow. Its hard to believe its already here am but that closure begins tonight at 8 p. M. At that point overnight crews begin to demolish the westbound approach making a temporary connection to the bike and pedestrian path. Overnight tomorrow they will be grinding and paving the roadway working on lighting and inspecting this span on friday. Crews will apply a polyester overlay on the tunnel. By saturday that demolition work will be wrapped up. Saturday they will install the temporary bike path and work on striping into monday when they will install a barrier rail and clean up everything for the grand opening on tuesday.
