Johnson & Johnson s one-dose coronavirusvaccine - which the UK has ordered 30 million doses of - has been shown to protect against Covid-19, but not as well as some two-shot rivals, trials have shown.
The single-shot Janssen vaccine was found to be 66% effective overall at preventing moderate to severe illness, and much more protective 85% against the most serious symptoms.
